Fundraising New Bobby Kemp event see poster above
 
The last major fundraising event was a concert by Bobby Kemp and his Swing Band at the Lowry, in February. Bobby’s donation and raffle money earned over £500. The Laurel and Hardy Appreciation Society of Hyde, presented a cheque for £250 on stage. ‘Laurel & Hardy hope to hold their annual convention in the Theatre Royal one day.
 
 
Future events to watch out for:
 
 
Race Night—at the Barnhouse Bredbury, on the the 26th September 2008, this is the fifth time we’ve held this successful event.
 
Bag-Pack at ASDA, Hyde—17th May, 10.00 – 4.00 Helpers will be required, the more the merrier, as the more people who offer  the less time each will have to spend packing. Children must be accompanied by parents or suitable adults.
 
 
The Charity Stall has been booked on Hyde Market for Saturday the 28th June. Please come along to donate cakes, books, ornaments etc,to sell, or to please help us on the day.   Anytime between 8.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.

Other plans in the pipeline are: a second Bobby Kemp evening, a Murder Mystery evening and a  Hallowe’en event.
